How I can help

I have experience with clients from many backgrounds, ages and genders with various issues including;

ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, self-harm, bereavement, loss, abuse, gender identity issues, body dysmorphia, anger management, perinatal mental health, relationship difficulties and infidelities, family breakdowns, low self-worth and confidence, work related stress, addictions.

Learning to be ok with who you are and knowing that you are good enough is something I am often told has made the biggest difference in helping clients feel better.

Many of the clients I have worked with have experienced huge life transformations such as an end to long-term depression and/or suicidal thoughts, the rediscovery of their self-belief, a way to cope with bereavement, strategies to deal with loss. They also report improvements in sleep quality, reduction in feelings of panic and reduced anxiety.

Clients who’ve been diagnosed with ADHD (or perhaps recognise symptoms) find that talking to a counsellor with lived experience helps them feel understood.

I work with adults and young people over 16.
